Privacy Policy

LetsShorts (the "Service") is a desktop automation app for YouTube Shorts/Reels creators. We take your privacy seriously and collect the minimum information necessary. This policy explains the scope, purpose, storage method, and your rights regarding information collected while using the Service.

1. Information We Collect

The Service stores the following items locally on your PC only. Nothing is transmitted to an external server.

  • License key — the key you received at purchase (~/.autoimg-license)
  • Web service session cookies — login cookies for ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok, isolated per service (~/.autoimg-chrome-{chatgpt,gemini,grok}/)
  • Gemini API key — a key you issue and enter yourself (stored in browser localStorage)
  • Work history — generated scripts, prompts, and images (~/.autoimg-history/)

2. Purpose of Collection

  • Providing app functionality — maintaining login sessions for ChatGPT/Gemini/Grok automation
  • Work convenience — reviewing and regenerating past work
  • License verification — ensuring only purchasing users can use the features

3. External Transmission

The Service does not transmit or store your scripts, prompts, images, API keys, or session cookies on our own servers. Only the following items are sent externally:

  • License key (Creem) — sent to Creem's servers for purchase verification (including device name). Creem's privacy policy: creem.io/legal/privacy
  • Automated services (OpenAI, Google, xAI) — web automation of services you have logged into directly; the respective service's privacy policy applies.

4. Retention Period

All local data is retained until you delete it yourself. These files remain even after the app is deleted; to remove them completely, use the in-app "Delete Data" feature or manually delete the paths above.

5. Your Rights

You can exercise the following rights:

  • Access — view your work history in the app's History tab
  • Deletion — delete individual items from the app UI
  • Portability — copy your data to another device (by copying the file paths above)

6. Security

Since all data is stored locally on your PC only, there is no risk from a breach of our own servers. However, the security of your PC (OS user account protection, disk encryption, etc.) is your own responsibility.

7. Cookies and Other Technologies

LetsShorts does not create its own cookies. For automation purposes, your system Chrome stores cookies for the web services being automated, the same as a regular Chrome browser.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, we will announce it via the in-app "Guide" tab. Please check the "last updated" date.
