Not for ChatGPT/Grok (a web account is enough). Gemini needs a free API key for image-prompt analysis — you can get one for free from Google AI Studio, with up to 1,500 requests/day at no cost.

Script generation works fine on a free account. But automatic image generation is recommended with ChatGPT Plus ($20/mo). Free ChatGPT limits image generation to roughly ~5 per hour, which is only 1-2 four-panel grids — for regular use, Plus is effectively required. Gemini's free tier (1,500/day) is generally enough on its own.

The app automatically detects the limit and shows a message like "ChatGPT limit reached: resets in X hours." You can wait for the reset or switch to another model (Gemini) to keep working. This is not a valid reason for a license refund — LLM usage limits are the provider's own policy and outside LetsShorts' responsibility.

LetsShorts automates each service's web UI using your own account. There's always some chance a service changes its UI or restricts automation. Our response: (1) <strong>3 services supported simultaneously</strong> (ChatGPT/Gemini/Grok) — if one is blocked, use another, (2) <strong>fast hotfix builds + auto-update</strong> when a UI changes, (3) refund or an alternative if a block turns out to be permanent. Complying with your own account's ToS and any associated risk is your responsibility, but LetsShorts commits to the fastest possible recovery.

macOS Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Windows 10/11 (x64) are supported. Intel Macs are not supported.

Every plan allows activation on up to 2 devices (e.g. Mac + Windows). To switch devices: on the old device, open LetsShorts → click "Deactivate this device" in the bottom-right → activate with your license key on the new device. If the old device is lost or broken and you can't deactivate it, email support@letsshorts.app with your order number (manual processing within 24 business hours).

If it's within 3 days of purchase, we'll refund you in full, no questions asked — activation or usage doesn't matter, even a simple change of mind is fine. Just send one line to support@letsshorts.app. (Clear abuse patterns are excluded.)

Yes, all v1.x updates are free. You'll get an in-app notification when a new version is out, and updating is one click.

Never. All data (scripts, images, history) is stored locally on your own PC only. Only your license key is verified externally, through Creem.

You can register up to 3 Gemini API keys, and the app automatically switches to the next one when a limit is hit. ChatGPT/Grok follow your own account's limits.

That's a macOS Gatekeeper warning. Official builds are Apple-notarized so this normally shouldn't appear, but if it does, right-click the app in Finder and choose Open.
